After spending almost 2 years teaching on a variety of topics such as "Our Church", the "Good News" along with the Purpose, Values, and Vision of FCC, it is now time to slow down for a while and remember the teachings and actions of Jesus in order to see how valuable they still are for us today. With that in mind, each Sunday from now through Easter 2011 we will be exploring what Luke said about Jesus.

The Unwasted Life
We have just finished our teaching series on what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. In the three weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, we will talk about what this relationship with Jesus means to us. Once we have “put on Christ” we are changed and transformed. Our lives should be different than they have been and our calling is different.
But God does not expect us to do this by ourselves. He transformed us into prophets, priests and kings. So, over the next three weeks we are going to discover how to use our calling to make the greatest impact for His kingdom to ensure that we live an UNWASTED LIFE.

Religions and Relationships...
So many of our people come out of a variety of church backgrounds and many would be considered “post-church” people, those who have a slight distaste for “church”. The goal of this series will be to help people see not just how to “act right” ...but to know that they are called into a relationship with God that has various stages that, when all put together, leads to eternity in the age to come.
Have you accepted a relationship with God...
...or are you simply using Him to get to Heaven?
This series will be helpful in getting people to understand what God is looking for in His relationship with His people.
